Have you ever wanted to learn how to make custom t-shirts? Do you have a design or image you've always wanted on a shirt, bag, or other fabric item?
A Rent-A-Press option is now available in the Kona, Hawaii area. The perfect solution for team boosters, halaus, bands, hobbyists and small businesses with projects and deadlines, but no expensive budget or bulky equipment. You buy the materials we provide the press and equipment necessary to start making some great t-shirts or bags, merchandise of any kind!
The private rental shirt studio features a dark room for coating screens, an exposure unit for burning images onto emulsions, multi-color printer, a 12x12 heat press for transfers, heat gun for curing shirts, and wash-out/ reclaimation areas - with Staff members always on hand to help!
Studio is booked as needed, so please call ahead to schedule an appointment. Screen-printing classes are also available, starting at a one day eight hour course for $179, screen included. This course will ensure you know how to purchase and burn a screen, prepare a screen for print, print shirts, and all the proper curing techniques along with a total breakdown of all the costs to start your own t-shirt or hat printing business. By the way, t-shirt printing is a 40 BILLION dollar a year industry...a very lucrative business indeed! Are you ready to potentially make money too??
Just bring a few friends, squeegees, ink, screen, and blank shirts or other substrates. If you forget something, or run out of supplies, or just need a bit of advice, our office is located in the same studio, and staff will always be around.
